Halloween Spectacular

Chiltern Open Air Museum Halloween Spectacular - Friday 27th October

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our Halloween Spectacular this evening. The event has now sold out so please only bring people with you that have a booked ticket. Here are some bits of information about the evening.

Timings

You can arrive any time after the start time that you have booked but last admission is at 7.30pm and the event closes at 9pm.

Tickets

Please make sure you have your ticket saved on your phone or printed out. Mobile reception on our site is limited. If you are an Annual Pass holder, please make sure that you bring your Annual Pass with you.

What to wear and bring

The site is muddy in some places so please make sure you wear suitable footwear. The site will be very dark in places so please make sure that you bring a torch!

Fancy Dress Competition

We would love visitors to wear fancy dress and if you would like to take part in our fancy dress competition then please post a picture of you wearing it on Instagram and tag us on @chilternoam The best fancy dress outfit will win a Family Annual Pass (2 adults and 3 children).

Food and Drink

We will have three external catering suppliers onsite for you to treat yourself to some hot food; they are Bombayish, Barbarian Grill and Funky Elephant. You can purchase take away drinks, cakes, crisps, sausage rolls and snacks from our Village Kitchen and take away drinks and sweets from our Horsebox.

Cash for candles and marshmallows

There will be additional charges for marshmallow toasting and candle making, please bring cash if you would like to participate in these activities.

Quiet space

Bucks Disability Service will be operating a quiet space on our Leagrave Common.

Getting here and parking

Chiltern Open Air Museum is located in Newland Park. Please look out for the lit green Newland Park hoarding at the end of the driveway. You will find the entrance to our car park along the driveway. We have lots of free parking.

Dogs

Dogs on short leads are welcome on site; however, we do not recommend bringing them to our Halloween Spectacular event.

Fire Performance

Our fire performances will take place at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm next to the bonfire in our Skippings event field.
