Grounds Admission

Our grounds and gardens are open on Saturdays and Sundays only until 6th December.  We are offering a reduced rate entry ticket and all visitors must pre-book their visit.

*From Saturday 31st October, our opening hours will be 10.00am-4.00pm*

There will be filming onsite until the end of November 2020 so some areas of the site maybe dressed for scenes and not as accessible as usual or at all. Income generated from the filming will be a big support to the museum through this difficult period. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Tickets are limited and there are restricted numbers allowed in every 30 minutes to minimise/prevent queues and help maintain social distancing.

When attending, we ask that all visitors stick to the current guidelines regarding groups of people.

What's open

You will not be able to enter any of our historic buildings but you will be able to enjoy our grounds, gardens, allotment, woodland and adventure playground.

You will be able to purchase takeaway hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks from our Village Kitchen. Our cafe will remain closed. We have picnic tables and lots of space for picnic blankets.

Our Museum shop will be open, we would prefer it if you paid by card. If you do have spare change bring it with you and roll them into our well where you can hear our well spirits talk.

Our toilet facilities will be open. We do have mobility scooters that can be borrowed please email us on enquiries@coam.org.uk to check availability and book.

We have lots of additional hand washing stations around the site and lots of space to socially distance.

Dogs

Dogs on short leads are very welcome on site.

Face Coverings

From the 24th July it is mandatory to wear a face covering when in a shop. Our ticket office is in our shop so all visitors (except those who are exempt and children under 11 years) will need to wear a face covering while in our ticket office and shop. The remainder of the site is outdoors and therefore a mask is not required.

Promotional Offers

While we are offering entry tickets at a reduced price, we are unable able to accept any promotional vouchers or 2 for 1 offers.

Tickets are non-refundable
