Help us replant our woodland

Our 17 acres of woodland has been seriously affected by ash die back, which has meant for safety reasons the majority of our woodland has been closed.

Over the coming months a programme of works to re-open the woodland will be starting, felling diseased trees and planting a new generation of native species oak, beech, hornbeam, field maple, horse chestnut, wild cherry, wild service, resistant elm, yew and juniper trees. We aim to plant 300 trees over the next two years and we need you help to do so.

The cost to plant a native tree with a stake and tree guard is around £150 per tree and the cost to plant a native tree with a stake and temporary tree guard is £50 per tree. We need a mixture of these options.

You can help us by donating the costs to purchase one or more of these trees. The full amount of your donation will go towards the planting and maintenance of new trees at the Museum site.

If you or your company would like to sponsor a tree, please contact Gill Whitehead on gill.whitehead@coam.org.uk
